Prayer and Praise
“Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no good, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I WILL REJOICE IN THE LORD, I WILL BE JOYFUL in GOD my SAVIOR. The Sovereign Lord is my strength; He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, He enables me to tread on the heights.” Habakkuk 3:17-19
“Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have given me relief when I was in distress. Be gracious to me and hear my prayer!” Psalm 4:1
What do we love in our relationships with others? It feeds our souls to hear praise and affirmation, that someone sees you, knows you deeply, and is pouring out their heart in praise for you! There also is great reward in others knowing you are a place of safety and power they can come to in vulnerability to share every detail from dreams and victories to hardships and weaknesses. We love and touch the Lord when we simply come to Him as we are. We fill Him with our praises and touch Him with our vulnerable hearts. He just wants YOU. Come to Him, acknowledge Him, celebrate Him, and simply share your heart with Him! When we do this together there is great power in it! Here is a safe place to take the initiative to tangibly praise and pray to God. God loves your heart and so do I! See this as a space to soul dump to the Lord!
